Gap360

If you don't want to pay for your flights but want a good salary when you have finished working at a camp then Gap360 might be able to help you.

Flights are included in this package so they will take care of that for you. However do bare in mind that the flights will only land and depart in New York, so if you do plan to travel after camp you will need to plan your tour to head back to New York.

With Gap360 you pay £399 and that includes medical insurance, flights and transport from New York to your camp in america.

In return you will get a minimum of $1,000 and this could increase depending on if you have advanced skills or want to work at a special needs camp. Also the salary is age dependent so the older you are the more money you will receive.

Some guidelines from Gap360:

Candidates for camp counselors should fall into one of three eligibility categories:

a) Demonstrate a strong ability to teach a primary skill to children and have experience and training in teaching this specific skill.

b) Have the ability to teach a secondary skill and are willing to become a counselor at a special needs or religious summer camp.

c) Have exceptional ability in a secondary skill and a significant level of training and experience in teaching this skill to children.
