About Mark...

Heyyy, I'm Mark Tonge and i'm 20 years old. I study Film and Television at the University of Lincoln and originally come from Cheshire.

I have a big passion for the film and television industry so one day I hope to gain a job working somewhere in that region. This interest came from working as an extra on various television shows such as 'Waterloo Road', 'Shameless' and 'Toast' alongside some big names in the industry. From then on I have always set my eyes on writing the next big drama or directing the next big blockbuster. Failing that I also wouldn't mind becoming a teacher so that I can inspire the next generation so that they can become as passionate as I am about a subject so that they can dream big and strive for success.

My other love is for sports, and I mean pretty much every sport, however the first and true love would be for football. I have played ever since I can remember. I support my local team and whenever I am at home from University I go down and watch them. I also support Manchester United, as I am from near them, and it's been passed down through the family, and is now with me, so one day my child will support the mighty red devils.

I have traveled the world to countries such as Australia, the USA, Turkey, Germany, Holland, Spain, Singapore, and would love to travel around South America or around the Far East. But they are pipe dreams for now as I have my eyes set on the USA for the summer, hence why I applied for a summer camp role.

I have been placed at a very beautiful looking place called 'Ojai Valley School' which is basically a summer school style camp, and will be helping out with Videography/Film as well as being a resident counsellor and soccer coach. This means I get to spend my summer in the CALI-FORN-I-A! HELL YEAH!
