About Kirsty...

Hello! I'm Kirsty Scaplehorn, I'm 22 years old and from Plymouth.  I'm currently in my 4th and final year at the University of Gloucestershire, studying Public Relations. In this I had to take a placement year, which was great fun and really taught me a lot in the PR and Marketing world. So much so they kept me on and I'm there once or twice a week until I finish my studies and jet off to the USA!



I love listening to music and going to live gigs, although I don't do this as often as I would like to! I also enjoy watching films (my favourite film ever is Little Miss Sunshine!) and going to the cinema.

This summer I will be working as an Office Assistant at a Jewish Camp. As I'm not religious myself I think it will be interesting to blog on how life is at a religous camp from a non-religious point of view. Hopefully this will help to broaden people's options when applying for camps in the future.
